ISLAMABAD: Chairman Public Accounts Committee Noor Alam Khan has indicated to summon the former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar on the matter of the Supreme Court Dam Fund.
According to private TV, the public accounts committee meeting revealed financial irregularities in the issuance of the Mohmand Dam contract. . The fact-finding report of the financial irregularities in the Mohmand Dam contract was summoned by the Public Accounts Committee within a month.
The members of the Public Accounts Committee also raised the Supreme Court Dam Fund issue and demanded an investigation. Barjees Tahir said that the nation was made a joke by collecting donations for the dam fund, there is no country in the world that has built dams with donations, 9 billion rupees were collected for the dam fund, while 13 billion rupees were spent on advertisements.

The Public Accounts Committee gave the Auditor General the task of investigating the Supreme Court Dam Fund and said that the Auditor General should conduct an investigation and submit a report, investigate how many expenses were incurred on the Dam Fund advertisement, how many families traveled abroad on the Dam Fund.
Chairman Public Accounts Committee Noor Alam Khan hinted to summon the former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Sabiq Nisar, and said that the former Chief Justice will also be summoned after financial irregularities were revealed in the investigation of the dam fund.
