The EU-Pak Friendship Federation Spain organized a “Pakistan Zindabad, Pak Army Zindabad” conference in Barcelona, where overseas Pakistanis rejected the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) civil disobedience movement, reaffirmed their loyalty to the Pakistan Armed Forces, and chanted slogans against the movement.
The conference was presided over by Kamran Khan, President of the EU-Pak Friendship Federation Spain, and witnessed a large turnout of patriotic Pakistanis. The national anthem of Pakistan was played, and all attendees stood in respect.
Participants pledged their allegiance to Pakistan and its armed forces, raising fervent slogans of “Long live General Syed Asim Munir” and “Long live Pak Army.” The attendees expressed their unwavering love and support for Pakistan.
In a special address, Dr. Parvez Iqbal Losar announced that similar “Pakistan Zindabad, Pak Army Zindabad” conferences would be held across Europe from now until March. He emphasized that Pakistanis in Spain have always raised their voices against anti-Pakistan elements.
Other speakers stated that the Pakistan Army is a “red line” for Pakistanis, and any propaganda against Pakistan or its army would not be tolerated. They also reiterated that Kashmir is the lifeline of Pakistan, and the army is its guardian. The speakers highlighted the importance of respecting institutions like the parliament, judiciary, and armed forces, stressing the urgent need for national unity and harmony.
It should be noted that PTI is planning to start a civil disobedient movement against the government and for the release of party founder Imran Khan. If the movement is announced, overseas Pakistanis will be appealed to stop sending remittances to Pakistan.
