Pakistan beat Australia by one wicket to qualify for the Over 60’s Cricket World Cup (45 overs) final.
As per Geo Super, Pakistan was well supported by Muhammad Aslam who scored 63 off 68 balls to chase 216 runs. Aslam set a perfect tone for the Green Shirts in the run-chase.
Tahir Rashid contributed 41 runs while becoming a helping hand for Aslam. Syed Kazmi scored 30 while Mohammad Pakhali made 28. For Australia, Mark Trafford-Walker and Peter Jodd bagged two wickets.

Earlier, Peter Jensen (91) and Eric Higgins (71) led Australia 215-6. The two batters put the hosts in a commanding position. Pakhali bagged three wickets for Pakistan whereas Mohammad Yaqoob and Mohammad Younus shared a wicket apiece.
