LAHORE: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that his government had ordered response to the Indian air strike on Balakot in 2019.

The airstrike inside Pakistan following a false flag operation at Pulwama on February 14, 2019, was responded with surprising retaliation by Pakistan Air Force bringing down two IAF aircraft, establishing the military and technological superiority of the Pakistan Air Force and shattered to pieces the myth of Indian military might.
Interestingly on 19th February 2019, Imran Khan said “In case of attack, Pakistan will not think about retaliating, it will retaliate,” and it did happen.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, Imran Khan said “our government ordered response to Indian air strike on Balakot with PAF air strikes on Indian military targets in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and the PAF downed an IAF plane over Pak air space capturing the pilot (Wing Commander Abhinandan).

It may be recalled that the next day after PAF air strike inside India in February 2019, the then PM Imran Khan had also announced in Parliament that his government was releasing Wing Commander Abhinandan.
