ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that our economy is flourishing in a solid manner and creating jobs.
The prime minister took to Twitter and said that despite the epidemic, the 59 percent increase in annual profits of listed businesses in the first nine months (of the financial year) shows that our economy is flourishing and creating jobs.

“Profits of listed businesses grew 59 percent year on year for the first nine months, despite Covid challenges,” he wrote by adding that this shows our economy is witnessing strong growth and creating jobs.
According to the prime minister, he is hopeful that businesses and employers will share these gains with their workforces. It should be noted that two days ago, PM Imran Khan had said that the previous governments used to build roads to make money, more than 100 percent of the money was spent on road construction.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Hakla Dera Ismail Khan Motorway, the prime minister said that the Ministry of Communications was doing its best. He said that a 30-year plan has been drawn up for China’s development. If few areas and people are developed then the rest of the country will be left behind, he maintained.
