KARACHI: Special Assistant on Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill has said that all opposition parties are on an anti-corruption drive.
Shahbaz Gill said that the script of being ideological after NRO by corrupting the Sharif family is old. He said that those who are snatching the rights of the people are trying unsuccessfully to hide under the guise of the people today.
Fake proponents of democracy should be held accountable for corruption instead of statements. Yesterday, PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had involved institutions in politics.
Talking to media along with PDM leaders, PML-N leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the Karachi incident was part of the record and the arrest of Capt (retd) Safdar was in front of everyone.
He said that the prime minister should have called the Sindh Chief Minister on the Karachi incident and talked to him on the issue but did he talked about the country’s affairs in the last few days. The prime minister is unfamiliar with the country’s affairs and does not care what is happening in the country.
On the occasion, Raja Pervez Ashraf said that the prime minister was losing his ability to think and understand and there was a situation of uncertainty in the country. He said that from the Karachi incident it seemed that the federation itself was involved in it.
