American woman Onijah Andrew Robinson’s son has revealed that his mother is struggling with mental health issues.
As per a private TV channel, Gareemyar Robinson has revealed that her mother had gone to Pakistan to meet him and his family and she had to return to the US within 15 days.
The son said his mother is suffering from mental health issues due to which her ability to think and consider has been affected. He said that through media he and his brother learned about the problem her mother facing in Pakistan. ” My brother and I have also booked a returned ticket for our mother, ” Gareemyar said.
It should be noted that the 33-year-old woman and mother of two came from America after falling in love with Pakistan youth Nidal Ahmed Memon, a resident of Garden West, however, upon her arrival to Pakistan Memon refused to marry her and disappeared. On Wednesday Pakistani officials tried to deport her as her visa for Pakistan had expired however she refused to leave Pakistan.
Later police shifted her to the Chhipa head office, located in the Lines Area adjacent to the Shara-e-Faisal FTC flyover. Chhipa officials have said that the woman has been provided a separate room, while they also provide free food to her.
Onijah Andrew is a resident of New York, US and she arrived in Karachi after falling in love with 19-year-old Nidal Memon, a resident of Karachi, through social media. After the young man disappeared, the woman survived for a few days using the money she had brought with her and is now out of resources. She has stated her desire to remain in Pakistan and obtain Pakistani citizenship.
