NEW YORK: A new and more dangerous strain of the Omicron variant, which has been wreaking havoc around the world, has been discovered in South Africa.
The World Health Organization (WHO) said that it is a subtype of the fast-spreading coronavirus’ Omicron variant, which some studies suggest could be more contagious than the original virus and has so far been found in 57 countries around the world.

It should be noted that the world is currently facing a new form of coronavirus, which was first identified in South Africa, and the South African province became the center of this new type but now it is spreading all over the world.
In a statement, the World Health Organization (WHO) described the strain of the new coronavirus as ‘a type of concern’, dubbed ‘omicron’. The range of Omicron’s symptoms is the same as that of other types Delta, Alpha, and Beta. These are some of the signs that appear in Omicron positive which include respiratory disease, flu fever, sore throat, cough, other respiratory problems.
