ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Energy Omar Ayub Khan on Monday held separate meetings with Finance Minister of the state of Qatar Ali Shareef Al Emadi and Minister for Energy Affairs Saad Sherida Al Kaabi in Doha.
During the meeting, the federal minister underlined the importance of further strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to work together with the State of Qatar to widen and deepen economic ties between the two countries.
The Qatari finance Minister said that Pakistan and Qatar enjoyed close and fraternal cordial relations which were multifaceted and deep rooted. Qatar would enhance and diversify the bilateral relations with the new political leadership in Pakistan.

In a separate meeting, the Qatari energy minister reiterated his commitment of working together with Pakistan in areas of mutual interest.
The federal minister stressed to build on the existing solid relations between two brotherly countries and commitment to full cooperation in energy sector.
Omar Ayub is on a two-day visit to Doha. He will co-chair the 5th Pak-Qatar Joint Ministerial Commission in Economic, Trade, and Technical Cooperation along with his counterpart Saad Shreida Al Kaabi being held on 4-5th November 2019 in Doha.
