ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant of PM on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) would raise more voices to highlight the democratic rights of occupied Kashmiris.
While thanking the OIC for supporting and expressing solidarity with oppressed Kashmiris, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the forum has highlighted the grave situation in the occupied valley.

Awan said that the verdict about Babri Mosque exposed the secular face of India and its attitude towards Muslims and other minorities.
Awan further said that Muslim states needed to adopt a united stance and prepare a complete strategy to deal with challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.
She added, “Pakistan, being a pioneer member of the OIC, desires promotion of economic relations among Muslim countries and strengthening of cooperation in science and technology.”
