ISLAMABAD: The parents of Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor Mukadam case have approached the Supreme Court after their bail application was rejected.
According to details, the parents of the accused have approached the Supreme Court of Pakistan for bail. Parents Zakir Jaffer and AsmatĀ Adamjee filed an appeal against the decision of the Islamabad High Court.
Earlier, in the Noor Muqadam murder case, the IHC had rejected the bail pleas of Zakir Jaffer and AsmatĀ Adamjee, the parents of the main accused Zahir Jaffer, remarking that the daughter of the former Pakistani ambassador could have survived.

Justice Amir Farooq of the Islamabad High Court last month gave a brief verdict on the bail of the main accused’s parents. The trial court will charge Zahir Jaffer, his parents, and the other accused today.
Zakir and Asmat, while filing bail petitions in the Noor Muqadam murder case, said they had nothing to do with Noor’s murder. However, Islamabad police took the position that Noor’s life could have been saved if Zahir’s parents had informed the police in time.
