Sherry Rehman took to Twitter and wrote that Sindh will face a terrible crisis without enough test kits. There are no cargo flights to pick up orders from the export destinations, she said.

The PPP senator also urged the federal government to regulate the import of kit in Sindh. She, in another tweet, once again mentioned the needs of the kits in the province. She wrote, “Sindh has done a great job, but now it needs testing kits and equipment to keep fighting the coronavirus.”
Earlier, Sherry Rehman said that the protection of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) crew was a top priority as they were also on the frontline battling against COVID-19. Rehman said, “In emergencies, we need to protect our frontline, which other than doctors, nurses, paramedics includes the PIA crew that are flying quarantine flights without any protection.”
She further said that among doctors, nurses and paramedical staff, the PIA crew members must not be exposed to infection for doing their jobs in times of extreme crises.
