ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir has said that there is no truth in the news regarding the increase in electricity prices and no such proposal is under consideration.
Khurram Dastgir while talking to the media said that there is no proposal under consideration regarding the increase in the electricity bill. The reason for the increase in circular debt is the flood, which has worsened the balance of payments, he said.
He said that the construction of the grid station will improve the electricity supply in Sargodha, the grid station will be linked to three places while the grid station will also provide facilities to the processing factories.
The federal minister said that the Tharkol project was initiated by Nawaz Sharif, while from Gwadar to Khunjarab, wherever development is seen, there will be a lion sign. Now there is a government of those who burn the day, while in the next three to four months there will be a clear reduction in inflation and those who have already done it will do the same.
He further said that a liar and an evil person cannot develop Pakistan while this country has been destroyed due to bad character and lies. Regarding the return of Nawaz Sharif, the Federal Minister said that very soon Nawaz Sharif will be in Pakistan and he will once again put the country on the highway of development.
