QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has expressed that he is adamant in his decision of not resigning, citing confidence in members of the ruling and coalition parties.
According to details, Jam Kamal Khan flatly refused to resign as speaking in a private TV program, he said that he had a majority in the Balochistan Assembly. Unless all members of the government and coalition partners agree to resign, there is no reason to resign, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, the Balochistan chief minister said that if most of the 40 members of the Balochistan Assembly turned against him, then there would be no justification for him to hold the post of the chief minister, while the number of supporters of the no-confidence motion is 16 who have a clear opinion and opposition against the minister.

During the meeting, CM Kamal said that five members of BAP (Balochistan Awami Party) have been against me from the very beginning but it is necessary to complete the count of 33 to make the no-confidence motion a success. Some members are definitely against him but will not vote in favor of the no-confidence motion.
Announcing his non-resignation, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal said that he would never resign at the unilateral demand of 10 to 12 members. If this happens then everyone will start demanding resignation from the chief minister with a few members.
