ISLAMABAD: Justice Gulzar Ahmed has rejected an appeal of patwari Muhammad Nawaz who was found guilty of in misconduct act.
Justice Gulzar Ahmed conducted his first case as the chief justice of Pakistan, rejected a bail plea filed by Muhammad Nawaz as he was found guilty of misconduct since he violated the order of the court.
The counsel of Nawaz argued that gardawar and tehsildar were also involved in the violation but his client was accused of the entire matter. He was terminated from his position in 2012.
The chief justice said that the patwari was found guilty of misconduct as it has been proven that he violated the court’s order. The patwari’s counsel congratulated Justice Gulzar Ahmed on assuming charge of his office and said he considers himself lucky that the new chief justice is conducting the hearing of his case.
