A newborn baby girl was found abandoned in a bag inside a garbage bin in the Chatta Bakhtawar area of Islamabad.
Residents reported hearing faint cries coming from the garbage, prompting them to alert the authorities. Police quickly responded to the scene, retrieving the infant from the bag and ensuring she received immediate medical care and protection.
The authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the abandonment and are working to identify the baby’s parents. The child is now in the care of social services.
