A significant number of people have started supporting Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa on social media after a video of a citizen misbehaving with him in Islamabad went viral a few days ago.
Many Facebook users, considered sensible members of society, have strongly condemned the incident that occurred in a bakery in the capital city. They are impartially analyzing the character of the CJP and praising his role in upholding the rule of law in the country, as well as his commitment to the constitution, instead of favoring any political party or leader.
These individuals believe that the CJP was targeted because he is not giving undue favor to a leader and his political party, which is known for derogatory remarks against opponents.
The netizens, most of whom are intellectuals, are lamenting the unfortunate incident involving the CJP and demanding stern legal action against those involved, as well as those engaged in character assassination of the CJP. They are also condemning the government’s lenient approach towards those insulting opponents in public, stating that this soft approach has encouraged such nefarious activities.
It should be noted that a video involving Crusteez Donuts’ employee, who disrespected Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, started making rounds on social on Thursday.
The viral video shows CJP Isa standing inside a shop with two women. At this time, the employee made disrespectful remarks about the chief justice after identifying him. He also filmed the moments.
