The trailer of ‘Mr and Mrs Shameem’ has already created a buzz on social media due to its unique storyline.
The Pakistani web series that will be streamed on an Indian OTT ‘Zee5’ features Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz in the leading roles. The 20-episode series that will stream from this month on 11th March has already won the heart of the audience not just because of the unique storyline but amazing acting and introduction to a transgender character.
Many social media users thanked the writers, directors, and actors for getting out of the gender binary and exploring gender in a desi context. Others applauded Nauman Ijaz for showcasing his versatility in a promising role.
