Now we are all aware of the leopard fiasco that happened in Islamabad yesterday that ended up injuring six people. The fun part is social media users are mocking its police and how everyone knows who owned the exotic animal except for the cops.
Since morning social media users have been expressing outrage on many things such as:
a) How an exotic wild animal can be kept in a residential area, its illegal.
b) None of the leopard’s owners trained their deomestic workers to keep the leopard in a cage or protect people from it.
c) The owners literally failed to keep safe.
It has been reported that the owners of the leopard belonged to Army and have been living in Islamabad DHA phase 2. Since this, many tweets have come forward against the owner:
Imagine a Gen. Sahab owning a Leopard, which was caged for god knows how long. Then it goes rougue & literally no one knows how to control it. Idk if we even have a dept trained for that Meanwhile 2 guards loose their lives & as usual tamasha dekha ja raha h #Leopard pic.twitter.com/4Mdp6ftP7f

If it’s confirmed that this #leopard escaped from a privately owned facility, then serious charges should be pressed again the owner and complete ban should be enforced on keeping big cats in private ownership @DHA2islamabad @TRAFFIC_WLTrade #commonleopard isn’t common! pic.twitter.com/yPAHUMAbzt

Once again, a general exercising his privilege and power, putting the life of an innocent leopard and the civilians at risk.
Caging wild life in your homes is disgraceful act. It’s a shameless show of power and money
Shame on General Akram

If you (Mr. Genral) can own a #Leopard 🐆 by his income (That is by the way our Tax Money)
Than Mr. Gen.Akram Raja, the least you can compensate some money (Still that is Our Tax Money) to the families of the injured caused by your leopard#dha2#آپ_نے_جیب_سے_کچھ_نہیں_دے_نا pic.twitter.com/6QKxYc37yp— awais bilal (@daywalker512) February 17, 2023

If Adil Raja @soldierspeaks would have kept the #Leopard instead of Gen Akram Raja, I am pretty sure establishment must have filled an FIR of sedition against him by now and judges must have ordered his imed arrest 😀😀😀. @OfficialDGISPR pic.twitter.com/IX8uDGTTEx

Is it true that the poor #Leopard belongs to Rtd General Akram in #dha2? If yes, I would request @WWFPak to take control and SAVE this endangered species! They fired at the leopard as well. The only country in the world where Rtd Generals keep a Leopard too… Have some shame. pic.twitter.com/7flCIQJJ1c
