ISLAMABAD: Queen Maxima of the Netherlands will arrive in Pakistan for a three-day visit on 25th November as the special advocate to UN Secretary-General for Inclusive Financing for Development (UNSGSA).
The visit will be a follow up to Queen 2016 visit on behalf of the UN. She has been invited to Pakistan on the invitation of the government.
During a three-day visit, the Dutch queen will discuss the progress of the way to financial services to improve the economic position of Pakistani citizens.

She is also expected to meet President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Queen Maxima will also be present at the launch of the Micropayments Gateway. It is a central bank initiative to reduce the cost of small payments in order to stimulate digital payments, in particular for people in poverty situations.
A visit will also be paid by Queen to a project developed with the CEO Partnership for Economic Inclusion.

Earlier in October, the British Royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Pakistan on a four-day visit.
