LOS ANGELES: Netflix has introduced a new feature allowing parents to keep a check of what their children watch on the streaming site.
The new feature is pin protected, helps individual-profiles to prevent children from accessing them. The feature creates age-wise filters, restricts specific titles from showing up on an individual profile and manages what children watch on their profile by disabling autoplay.
In this way, parents can hide a series or movie from the viewing list if they feel that the content is not suitable for the kids. To hide content from the site, the parents can go to the Profile and Parental Controls section and type out the movie or a series name that they want to hide from their kid’s profile.
The new feature is aimed at helping parents to manage the content their children watch on Netflix. It comes at a time when children are spending more time at home during the day because of the coronavirus crisis.
