Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for “One Hundred Years of Solitude”, the highly anticipated series based on the iconic novel by Gabriel García Márquez.
The adaptation, which features eight episodes, will premiere on December 11.
This series brings to life the magical realist masterpiece of the Colombian literary giant, focusing on the multi-generational saga of the Buendía family in the fictional town of Macondo.
As one of Netflix’s largest productions in Latin America, filming took place from May to December 2023 across 15 towns. The project employed a cast largely made up of emerging talent, along with a crew of hundreds and more than 20,000 extras.
Starring Claudio Cataño, Jerónimo Barón, Santiago Vásquez, Marco González, Diego Vásquez, Leonardo Soto, Susana Morales, and Marleyda Soto, “One Hundred Years of Solitude” promises to be an epic addition to Netflix’s slate.
