National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has declared K-Electric (KE) as the top-performing power company in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards within the power sector. This recognition comes from the “2024 HSE Performance Evaluation Report” issued by the NEPRA.
The report, which rigorously evaluated safety measures and corporate initiatives, highlighted KE’s significant advancements across its operations, spanning generation, transmission, and distribution. KE’s standout performance in HSE standards, with scores of 96.5 in generation, 95 in transmission, and 88 in distribution, surpasses those of all other distribution companies.
This recognition underscores KE’s unwavering dedication to prioritizing safety and strategic investments in fostering secure work environments. Moonis Abdullah Alvi, CEO of K-Electric, expressed gratitude for the acknowledgment, emphasizing the company’s commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainability. He stressed the importance of an uninterrupted power supply, supported by the highest safety standards.
