ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has expressed satisfaction over the additional steps taken by the Sindh government to control the coronavirus and said that 500 oxygen cylinders and 30 ventilators have been added in Gilgit-Baltistan across the country.
Vaccine centers will be closed only tomorrow on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. A meeting of the National Command and Operations Center was held under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar to review the implementation of SOPs related to Eid-ul-Azha and the spread of the coronavirus in Karachi and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The NCOC expressed satisfaction over the additional steps taken by the Sindh government in view of the spread of the coronavirus. In view of the spread of the virus in Gilgit-Baltistan, 500 oxygen cylinders and 30 ventilators were added.
According to the statement, the forum was briefed on increasing the capacity of vaccination. At present, almost six lakh vaccines are being administered daily in the country. Vaccine centers across the country will remain closed only on Eid-ul-Azha. A large number of modern vaccines have been made available to vaccination centers for individuals and students going abroad.
