Model turned-actress Nazish Jahangir, who was once labelled as a homewrecker after actor Mohsin Abbas Haider and his wife Fatima Sohail parted ways, has blamed the Aurat March for the surging divorce rate nowadays.

Nazish Jahangir was invited to Nadir Ali’s podcast where she talked about many things including feminism and said that she stands with her previous opinion that every crying woman is not truthful.
Talking about feminism, Nazish Jahangir said that she is not an Orthodox feminist. ” believe in equality, I still say, ‘not all crying women are truthful’”. She added, “I am standing with the right person whether it is a woman or a man. I don’t believe in these Aurat Marches, it’s not benefiting the women for whom we are fighting, such poor women would be sitting in villages and making food.”
She said that she thinks these fake feminist movements will not get you justice, you are doing these protests for us, and our league knows everything about it, also, the ratio of Khula (When lady demands divorce from Court) has increased after these marches (Aurat March).
“I’m not saying to bear cruelties, our parents are the biggest example of absorbing each other with patience and love. Nnow people are getting divorced in a month after marriage,” she said.
