The sub-committee meeting was held earlier on Monday to decide a conclusion on the same case. The officials of NAB were also presented in the meeting.
During the sub-committee meeting, the NAB officials refused to give an opinion on the issue, saying that the federal cabinet had the authority to remove anyone’s name from the ECL.
The officials notified that the NAB had no objection over decision of lifting Nawaz Sharif’s name from the ECL.
During the meeting the PML-N petitioned that the interior ministry to allow the Nawaz to travel abroad for medical treatment. He earlier on Sunday bought a ticket to travel abroad but his flight was cancelled as his name was not removed from the ECL.
