LONDON: Former premier Nawaz Sharif is expected to leave for the United States over the weekend for further treatment.
The family of Nawaz Sharif contacted the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston for the treatment of his blocked carotid artery.
Nawaz has been in a roller-coaster ride between hospitals and treatment since October when his health worsened because of platelets decreased.

He was immediately recommended by the doctors to be treated abroad as his condition was unmanageable in the country’s hospitals. He was granted bail by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for four weeks on the medical grounds.
Nawaz Sharif left for London last month along with his brother Shehbaz Sharif.
