ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ijaz Shah has said that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leaders Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz could not travel abroad despite bails as their names were on the Exit Control List (ECL).
Talking to the media, the minister notified that the names of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz were put on ECL on the requests of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). However, the minister extended best wishes for quick recovery of the former premier.
To a question related to the anti-government march, the interior minister opined that Prime Minister Imran Khan has dealt with the sit-in issue wisely.
