The National Assembly of Pakistan on Monday unanimously passed a resolution expressing strong solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and condemning the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
During the parliamentary session, lawmakers held a detailed discussion on the Palestinian issue and the Israeli aggression, strongly denouncing the brutal actions of Israeli forces.
The resolution, presented by Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, urged the United Nations to play a proactive role in halting Israeli brutality and assisting in the reconstruction of war-ravaged Gaza.
“This House demands that the Israeli barbarism be immediately stopped,” the resolution declared. “We once again strongly condemn the atrocities being committed by Israeli forces.”
The resolution paid tribute to the 60,000 Palestinian martyrs, denounced the continued bombing despite ceasefire announcements, and called Israeli aggression a failure of the international community.
Furthermore, the resolution demanded the immediate withdrawal of Israeli forces from Palestinian territories.
In a rare display of unity, lawmakers from across the political spectrum backed the resolution, reaffirming Pakistan’s principled support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to peace and justice.
