ATTOCK: Ex-Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Thursday while terming his recent campaign a holy war (Jihad) urged the youth of the country to join his struggle for “real freedom”.
Addressing a rally in Attock, the former prime minister said that his campaign is not about politics anymore but has turned into a Jihad (holy war), adding that he will never accept “thieves and slaves” ruling the country.
The PTI chairman is holding a series of jalsas in different cities, including Karachi, Mianwali, Lahore, and Peshawar, as he rallies his party workers and leaders against the incumbent government.
Berating the current government, the PTI leader said that the current leaders have bowed down in front of the United States of America.
He said that he has decided that as long as Allah keeps him alive, he will continue his struggle for real independence and will never accept thieves and robbers.
The PTI chairman said that it is the responsibility of the brave young people to participate in this struggle with him and further urged the women to also take part in his struggle for real freedom of the country.
“This is an important time for our country, and we have to decide either we want to remain slaves to America or live as the citizens of an independent sovereign state”, he said.
Emphasizing the importance of freedom he said that many Pakistani have lost their lives in a foreign war. “Conquering is one form of slavery. To enslave without conquering is another form, Pervez Musharraf had to submit to the United States”, he maintained.
Imran Khan mentioned that the U.S had threatened Musharraf to join the war or else they would bomb the country. He said that even the leaders at the time submitted to the demands of the U.S but “I’ll never bow down to anyone and neither will I let my nation to submit”, he added.

The PTI leader also brutally criticized the supreme leadership of the opposition parties explaining that they have badly damaged the sovereignty of the state. While targeting the PMLN leaders he said that one bowed to others while the other used to talk against the Armed Forces from abroad. He also lashed out at the PPP leader terming him the worst disease for the country.
The former Prime minister further said that the Three Stooges conspired here with the Biden administration. “The Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu threatened Pakistan’s ambassador saying that they will let go if Imran Khan is removed from the position. Donald Lo knew that Cherry Blossom would come and serve”, he added.
He said that when the conspiracy was discovered, they informed the people who could have stopped it. “Shaukat Tarin and I made efforts by conveying the truth to them but unfortunately anything could be done”, said Imran Khan.
The PTI leader pointed out that the Foreign reserves have been falling sharply for two months. “Pakistan’s economy is going down? Who is responsible”, he exclaimed.
Imran Khan said that he would not step back from the Islamabad march. “I invite the whole nation to the capital city,” he said.
