KARACHI: The Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) has announced to hold a political gathering at the Bagh-e-Jinnah on November 8 in Karachi.
This comes after the eleven-party Pakistan Democratic Alliance held a massive rally at the same venue a day earlier. The PSP is not part of the alliance holding protests and rallies in its bid to oust Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government.
PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal has opposed the alliance and has claimed that not a single resident of Karachi participated in the anti-government rally organised by the PDM on October 18.
In a statement, the PSP chief said that the people of Karachi and they are immensely suffering due to the increasing inflation in the country and everything including gas, electricity is getting expensive.
He said the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Rs. 1100 billion package for the development of the metropolis is nothing more than an eyewash.
