Mother, along with three children, attempts suicide in Wazirabad

WAZIRABAD: A tragic incident unfolded as a mother, amidst a domestic dispute, attempted to end her own life along with her three children in Wazirabad, Punjab on Sunday.

Tragically, in Wazirabad’s Jinnah Colony, she resorted to slitting the throats of her three children and cutting her own vein. Regrettably, one of her children, a four-month-old infant, succumbed to the injuries inflicted. The two remaining children and their mother were swiftly transported to the hospital, their conditions deemed critical.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the harrowing incident.

In another grievous occurrence in Quetta, a woman took her own life after administering a poisonous substance to her four daughters. The heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Quetta’s Hazara Town, where the woman, in an act of despair, poisoned her daughters, aged between three to 10 years.

According to police reports, after administering the toxic substance to her young daughters, the mother herself ingested the poison. Tragically, the mother and three of her daughters perished on the spot, while the fourth daughter was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, the fourth girl also tragically lost her life while undergoing treatment.
