Reports gathered by MM News from different parts of Metropolis as well as other districts across Pakistan show that an overwhelming majority of traders and businessmen opted to remain closed on Monday. However, it was not clear if the closure was a positive response to TLP’s call or was triggered by the ‘fear factor’.
There were scenes in Karachi’s Mai Kolachi/Sher Shah area where locals, carrying batons, blocked the road and were seen threatening car drivers.
