LARKANA: Sindh Minister for Agriculture Ismail Rahu has said the provincial government of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) making all-out efforts to provide relief to the masses despite limited resources.
This, he stated while addressing an open hatchery held on the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, here at Town Hall Larkana.
A large number of people attended it to get their complaints readdressed. Complaints were voiced against Sepco over-billing, non-award of deceased quota in the education department, unavailability of required proper facilities in hospitals including a severe shortage of medicines and uncleanliness.
The minister ordered the removal of complaints through the officials of relevant departments. Some growers also complained that desalting of water canals and drains had not yet been carried out which would be a great loss to tail end irrigation water users during the season.
The locals also complained against cleanliness in the entire Larkana city and non-lifting of garbage dumped at various localities which had created a lot of environmental and health problems for the citizens.
While addressing the participants, Rahu said: “These open kachehries are being held on the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to provide relief to the people at their doorsteps.
