RAWALPINDI: A meeting of the military’s top brass on Thursday has acknowledged effective highlighting of the Kashmir dispute and exposing human rights violation in Indian-Occupied Kashmir at the recently concluded United Nations General Assembly session.
The views were expressed during a Corps Commanders Conference presided over by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa held at the General Headquarters. The forum reviews the geostrategic and national security environment and the ongoing situation in held Kashmir.
The forum also expressed appreciation for effectively dealing with foreign-backed efforts at destablising Pakistan through various machinations. The commander reiterated their resolve for a befitting response to any Indian aggression being conveyed through irresponsible statements of Indian military commanders.
“Pakistan Army is fully configured, prepared, and determined to defend honour, dignity and territorial integrity at all costs,” the army chief was quoted as saying by the Inter-Services Public Relations.
“Kashmir is a jugular vein of Pakistan and no compromise shall be made which denies the right to self-determination to our brave Kashmiri brethren,” COAS added.
