Whether it’s occupied Kashmir or Palestine, both sides have a history marked by human suffering, violence, oppression, and brutality. However, the international community often engages in verbal condemnation of such atrocities but doesn’t take concrete action to help the victims.
The State of Israel has been involved in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. Israel’s relentless bombing has claimed the lives of over 2,700 Palestinian martyrs, including more than 1,000 children. The Israeli Air Force even targeted United Nations refugee camps.
The search for more than 1,000 individuals trapped under the rubble of demolished buildings in occupied Palestine is ongoing. Six hundred Palestinians have been arrested from the western coast, and dozens have been martyred. The bombings have completely destroyed four hospitals in northern Gaza.
Due to the destruction of multiple buildings, over 1,000,000 people in Gaza have become homeless, and when considering the entire population of Gaza, it reaches approximately 2.1 to 2.2 million, of which 40% are children under the age of 14.
The heartless and malicious Israeli bombing will never be forgotten by the world, as images and videos of the affected population and destroyed buildings have shaken people of all races and religions.
In New York, hundreds of Jewish faith individuals gathered and demanded the cessation of the ongoing killings and atrocities in Gaza. They emphasized that violence should not be committed in the name of Jews.
The Jewish faith, just like Islam and Christianity, is considered a religion of inspiration.
On the other hand, Zionism is an ideology that seeks to establish a state for all Jews worldwide, for which the land of Palestinians was taken. Even Mahatma Gandhi stated that Palestine belongs to the Arabs, not Israel.
Jews from all over the world are settling in Israel without the agreement of every Jew, as not every Jew believes that Jews have a rightful claim to the land of Palestine.
The global community must raise its voice for the freedom of occupied Palestine, which includes sacred sites such as the Al-Aqsa Mosque, not just for the Muslims but also for followers of Christianity and Judaism, as Al-Aqsa is the holiest place for them as well. Muslims’ rights should be recognized concerning its ownership.
