ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa said that the media has misrepresented my stance on a verdict of former president Pervez Musharraf.
Asif Saeed Khosa said that he would not support the special court verdict against a Pervez Musharraf.
The CJP said, “Media misrepresented my stance on the former president. I have been accused of affecting the treason case but, these allegations are baseless and incorrect.”
CJP Khosa referred judges as braveheart by saying that a judge should have a lion heart and strong conduct to deliver decisions in all important cases.
CJP Asif Saeed Khosa will retire today from his post. In this regard, a full-court reference will be held today in the honour of CJP Khosa and dinner will also be given in an honour of the outgoing Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Asif Saeed Khosa is the 26th and current Chief Justice of Pakistan. He took charge as Chief Justice of Pakistan on 18th January 2019. He joined the Supreme Court as a judge on 18th February 2010 and prior to that served as judge of the Lahore High Court.
