Maya Jama has denied speculations that she’s back together with Stormzy after they were seemingly spotted together at the GQ Men of the Year 2022 awards.
The former lovers attended the celebrity-studded party on Wednesday night, sparking a lot of rumors as onlookers believed they had revived their romance.
The reports, however, have been debunked by Maya’s team, and the couple, who divorced in 2019 after four years together, is not back together.
That does sound reasonable, especially considering that they were merely attending an awards ceremony where Pierce Brosnan, John Boyega, Salma Hayek, Rochelle Humes, and others were present.
According to a source who spoke to The Sun, Maya and Stormzy were seen conversing during the event at the Pavilion member’s club in Knightsbridge.
The rumors came as the TV star stepped out in style at the grand opening of Bacchanalia London on Thursday evening,
This got plenty of fans excited, with some of them saying the speculation gave them ‘hope’.
The rumors come after Maya split from NBA star Ben Simmons, whom she got engaged to last December, over the summer after a tough time in their long-distance relationship.
Meanwhile, Stormzy recently opened up about his own breakup from Maya and described the end of their relationship as his ‘biggest mistake’.
