Papers of different subjects were leaked before the start of the matriculation examinations in Larkana, Khairpur, Dehrki, and Ghotki districts of Sindh, a private TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the reports, despite the enforcement of Section 144 around examination centers, the Sindhi language paper for the ninth grade was leaked, highlighting the persistent challenges posed by cheating mafias in the region. A WhatsApp group was created for cheating and solving questions.
Similarly, the chemistry paper of the tenth class was leaked before the start of the examination in Khairpur. According to reports, the paper was leaked at 8.57 am. Students created a WhatsApp group for cheating.
Reports indicate that some male and female students were permitted by teachers to use mobile phones inside the examination hall.
In Dherki, examination hall staff were observed assisting students in cheating during the chemistry exam for tenth-grade students. At Shah Latif Examination Hall in Dherki, students were seen openly cheating, the report added.
Additionally, the chemistry exam paper for the tenth grade was leaked prior to the exam in Ghotki.
It should be noted that Matric exams have been started across the Sindh today.
