Pakistani model and actress Mathira has voiced her concerns over the growing immorality in the country, revealing a troubling shift in societal values.
In a recent podcast appearance, Mathira highlighted the alarming rise of improper relationships among youth, leading to various social issues. “Illicit relationships have become commonplace, causing numerous problems,” she lamented.
The actress also criticized the commercialization of marriage in Pakistan, where financial status and social standing often take precedence over meaningful values. “Marriages are now treated like business deals,” she noted.
Mathira emphasized the importance of addressing family dynamics and challenges in maintaining healthy relationships. “Distancing yourself from family is impossible,” she advised. “Show them the mirror when they’re wrong, but don’t break bonds.”
Her comments come after a previous appearance on a morning show, where she shared insights on motherhood and navigating “toxic” households.
