KARACHI: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that Maryam Nawaz is taking politics to a dead end.
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed while talking to media in Karachi said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said yesterday that there was no talk of targeting the army. Bilawal Bhutto took a responsible stance in his interview and his statement is based on facts, he said.
He said that Maryam Nawaz was taking politics to a dead end. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that everything can be discussed except NRO while the premier will complete five years, he added.
He said that all the political parties in Gilgit-Baltistan are participating in the elections but it remains to be seen whether the losers will accept defeat or not. He said that he was going to give Rs. 6 billion to the pensioners below 16th grade in the railway department. Private trains have shown tremendous performance. Now I will give all freight vehicles to the private sector.
The federal minister said that the circular track in Karachi has been cleared up to 14 km and now a meeting has also been held with those who are sitting on the valuable lands of the railways. “I want to take the railway track to Jalalabad under CPEC,” he added.
