Maryam Nawaz hospitalised after her health deteriorates

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has been admitted to Service Hospital after her health deteriorated on late Wednesday.

According to a document issued by the Services Hospital Lahore Accident & Emergency Services, Maryam was admitted at 10:03 pm in VVIP II.

Maryam Nawaz has been shifted to the same hospital where her ailing father former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was being treated. The same night they both met at the hospital.

Maryam Nawaz along with the NAB team reached Services Hospital from Kot Lakhpat jail and met her father after the Punjab government allowed permission.

The development had come after a request was sent by the PML-N to the Punjab Home Department asking for special permission to be granted.

Afterward, her health condition began worsening that she had to be admitted to the hospital on an urgent basis.

According to sources, doctors at Services Hospital will conduct several medical tests of Maryam Nawaz.
