MANSEHRA: The uncle of a Mansehra child who was allegedly raped and tortured by his teacher wants the country’s top leadership to take notice of the incident and make up a JIT.
In a press conference on Wednesday, the child’s uncle alleged after a deal suspect was presented before court three days after his arrest.
Suspects Qari Shamsuddin, his brother and four others were apprehended for raping and torturing a 10-year-old child in Parhana.
After the incident, On December 30 the child was shifted to a hospital by his family and medical report confirmed rap and torture on the child.
According to the report, the child also had injuries on his body and his eyes were swollen. Shamsuddin was a government school employee and had been running an illegal seminary in the area, which has now been sealed.
The boy’s uncle appealed to the public, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa to take stern notice of the incident and constitute a JIT to investigate the case.
“The accused was presented in court after three days and after a deal was made he alleged. We are not satisfied with the punishment he is being given or the remand,” victims’ uncle said.
