KARACHI: Four people, including a man and three women, were injured in a firing incident at a house in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
The assailant also shot and wounded himself. According to details, the incident took place in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi. SHO Gulistan-e-Jauhar said that a man named Mansoor opened fire at a house located in Block-14.
The SHO said that the accused opened fire at his father-in-law and injured four people over a domestic dispute. Gulistan-e-Jauhar’s SHO said that his father-in-law Sohail Ahmed, 55, mother-in-law Shaheen Begum, 51, wife Shehzain, 25, and wife’s aunt Afshan were injured in the firing.

He said that the accused also shot and injured himself. The five injured including the accused have been shifted to the hospital for treatment. The incident is under further investigation.
Police said that the injured father-in-law had registered a case against his son-in-law on June 13 in Case No. 529 under Section 25 of the Telegraph Act.
