Man in Rawalpindi throws acid on his sister-in-law

RAWALPINDI: A man, who was accused of throwing acid on his sister-in-law has been arrested in the Pir Wadhai area.

A case has been registered against the accused named Majeed who had fled after throwing acid on his sister-in-law named Shaheen Bibi in Rawalpindi. 

The incident occurred early in the morning when a fight occurred between the victim and her husband. Later, Majeed brought his brother’s children to his house.

When Shaheen Bibi, the mother of the children went to his home to pick up her children, she was attacked by her brother-in-law by an acid.

However, the police arrested the accused within a few hours, while Shaheen Bibi has been shifted to the hospital and evidence has been collected from the spot. The police have registered a case against the accused.
