Senior politician Mahmood Moulvi has condemned a recent statement by Aleema Khan, sister of a former prime minister, describing it as deeply regrettable and hurtful to the nation—particularly to the sentiments of Pakistan’s armed forces.
In his public remarks, Mahmood Moulvi said Aleema Khan dishonored the blood of the martyrs and attempted to sabotage national unity by labeling the recent Pakistan–India conflict as a lie and part of a “London Plan Two.”
“This is especially lamentable at a time when the entire nation is proud of the courage and valor displayed by our Army, Navy, and Air Force,” he stated.
“Many young lives were sacrificed in this conflict, yet to dismiss it as fake is profoundly disrespectful.”
Moulvi has called on the current chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to clarify whether Alima Khan genuinely considers the war a falsehood and a foreign plot, or if she recognizes it as a source of national pride.
