ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has appointed Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz HI(M), retired as Secretary, Defence Production Division on a contract basis for two years.
According to the notification issued by the Establishment Division, published in the Gazette of Pakistan, Lieutenant General retired Humayun Aziz has been appointed as Secretary Production Division for two years with effect from 05-03-2022.
It may be recalled that earlier Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz had a farewell meeting with Sindh Governor Imran Ismail during which issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Governor Sindh said that Humayun Aziz is a true soldier of the nation. Former Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz met Sindh Governor Imran Ismail two years ago. During the meeting, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said that the outgoing Corps Commander Karachi had been an honest and conscientious officer.
