Last night’s final episode of ‘Destined With You’, which has become one of Netflix’s most popular Korean dramas this year, left us in awe and sadness as well.
Netflix’s fantasy romance drama ‘Destined With You’ follows the story of Jang Shin-Yu, played by Rowoon and Lee Hong-Jo, played by Jo Bo-ah as they fall into a complicated romance filled with fantasy elements.
Shin-Yu is a successful lawyer who seems to have everything, while Hong-Jo is a lonely civil servant whose life changes when she comes across an ancient spell book from the Joseon era.
Although Shin-Yu seems to have everything, he suffers from a mysterious disease that has been plaguing his family for centuries. The disease has no cure, but the spell book Hong-Jo found might contain a spell that can help him.

The King’s Affection
Starring Rowoon, The King’s Affection is a 2021 South Korean television series that also stars Park Eun-bin, Nam Yoon-su, Choi Byung-chan, Bae Yoon-kyung, and Jung Chae-yeon.
The story is based on Lee So-young’s manhwa Yeonmo. The King’s Affection is the first South Korean television series to win an International Emmy Award.
She Would Never Know
Starring Rowoon, She Would Never Know is a 2021 drama which is based on the 2017 web novel ‘Senior, Don’t Put on That Lipstick by Elise (Elize)’. The series tells the story of people working on the marketing team of a cosmetics brand, with a focus on the senior/junior relationship of Yoon Song-ah (Won Jin ah) and Chae Hyun-seung (Rowoon).
Substories include Chae Hyun-seung’s sister, Chae Ji-Seung a dress maker, dating Lee Jae-Woon, a BM at the cosmetics company and his other sister, Chae Yeon-Seung, relationship with her closeted husband, Kang Woo-Hyun and their young daughter, Kang Ha-Eun.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is based on a Naver webtoon which is about the angels of the underworld who used to guide the dead, but now save those who want to die. A young job seeker, Choi Jun-woong played by Rowoon is unable to secure a job.
Through an accident, he meets the grim reapers Koo Ryeon (Kim Hee-sun) and Lim Ryung Gu (Yoon Ji-on) who have the task of preventing suicide and works with them as the youngest contract worker in the crisis management team of death angels.
Where Stars Land
Where Stars Land stars Lee Je-hoon and Chae Soo-bin. It follows the lives of employees at Incheon International Airport. It is available on Netflix to stream.
