LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Saturday that the long march will held despite the government’s tactics and propaganda.
He said this in his meeting with Leader of Opposition in Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and PPP Punjab President Raja Pervez Ashraf who called on him at Bilawal House.
Bilawal handed over important tasks to the two former prime ministers regarding the long march on February 27. The PPP chairman discussed in detail the objectives of the Long March with the two leaders.
On this occasion, Bilawal said that before the long march, propaganda against the PPP has started from various quarters.
He said from Karachi to Islamabad, the selected government is targeting the PPP especially because of the long march but despite government’s tactics and propaganda, the long march will go ahead.

Bilawal said that PPP has always distributed the power and never snatched it. Zardari was the most powerful civilian president; Zardari gave all powers to the parliament. Bilawal said that he wants powers to be given to provinces and local body system to be strengthened. Murad Ali Shah has given a new local body system in Sindh.
Bilawal Bhutto further said that there were no such bad economic conditions in the history of the country when East Pakistan was separated; even during the war such economic conditions were not bad. This government is anti-people government, PPP is poor, people-friendly party, Bhutto had given 5-Marla Scheme in 1970.
