With 2023 ending, the new year i.e. 2024 has brought many more varieties of K-dramas across different genres. Let’s have a detailed look at the notable dramas that will stream on Netflix Amazon Prime Video and other streaming platforms:
1) ‘Squid Game 2’ (Netflix)
Starring Lee Jung-jae who was the only one contestant who survived out of the 456 in season one notices someone else was being enlisted for the perilous game once more, and he finds himself feeling tempted to return. Although season 2’s specifics are still unknown, Gi-hun’s comeback is anticipated.
2) Death’s Game Part 2 (Amazon Prime Video)
Part 2 of Death’s Game will stream on January 5. Featuring Park So Dam and Seo In Guk in the leading roles, the official synopsis of the show reads “Confronted by challenges and contemplating suicide following a string of setbacks, a man encounters Death. Cha Hyun-soo (Song Kang) and the other survivors of the Green Home apartment will once again find their lives at risk after fending off enigmatic creatures in the first two seasons.

Featuring Bae Suzy and Kim Woo-bin in pivotal roles, the series’ synopsis says: ‘After meeting the heartless Ga-young (Bae), an overly sentimental Genie (Kim) grants her three wishes after the latter extracts the genie from a lamp. 6) ‘The Trunk’ (Netflix)
The series features Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo, and Jung Yun-ha. The owner of NM, a fixed-term marriage service company that matches clients with ideal partners, is Noh In-ji (Seo). Music producer Han Jeong-won (Gong), meantime, is adamant that weddings inherently result in dishonesty. When two complete opposites begin to fall in love with one another.
7) ‘Mercy for None’ (Netflix)
Featuring So Ji-sub, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Ahn Kil-kang, after witnessing his brother Nam Ki-seok (Lee) take over a rival gang, Nam Ki-joon (So) decides to leave the criminal underworld. Years later, Ki-joon comes to get revenge on his brother for the inexplicable ambush and killing of Ki-seok.
8) ‘All of Us Are Dead 2’ (Netflix)
The series features Cho Yi-hyun, Park Ji-hu, Lomon, and Yoon Chan-young. At the conclusion of the first installment, a number of infected people—among them Nam-ra (Cho)—learned how to maintain their humanity despite developing enhanced senses and strength.
